Blastoise Base With Rarity Japanese 009

This card is nearly identical to the Japanese Base No Rarity card except that it has a rarity symbol.  It is identified as such by having a star in the bottom right corner.  The No Rarity version is considered a first edition while this card is considered an unlimited edition.  Japan only released two editions of the base set, cards with no rarity symbol and cards with a rarity symbol.  Other languages that released the base set had many differences including edition, copyright, and errors.  To read more about the Base set visit Bulbapedia and Pokellector.
