Blastoise & Piplup GX Sun & Moon Promo Chinese (Traditional) 066/SM-P

The Sun & Moon Promos or “SM-P Promos” in began in China (Taiwan and Hong Kong) in October 2019.  This card is part of the “Work Together, Break Through!” campaign. Pokémon TCG Gym events in Taiwan and Hong Kong were suspended in late April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The “Work Together, Break Through!” campaign was set up as an expression of gratitude to players and stores in both countries. From May 1 to 31, 2020, people who purchased NT$500 worth of TCG products in Taiwan or HK$130 worth of TCG products in Hong Kong at designated stores were eligible to receive special packs containing one of thirteen promotional cards. The packs were not immediately redeemable, requiring stamped receipts to be retained for those wishing to receive them. They became available from May 14, 2020.  Note that this card is nearly identical to the card in the Legendary Clash set, with the only difference being the “Gym Challenge” logo.  To read more about the Sun & Moon Promos visit Bulbapedia.
