Radiant Blastoise Pokemon Go s10bT Thai 018/071
A collaboration between the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) and Pokemon Go the mobile video game, this set combined artwork from the game along with other in-game aspects. Since Pokemon Go has been such a large part of the resurgence in popularity for Pokemon in general it is somewhat surprising it took six years for this collaboration to occur. Asian countries (Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, and Indonesia) used a different numbering system than the Western countries (USA, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Italy) for this set. Asian countries used “018/071” while the Western countries used “018/078.” Asian countries use a “K” for the rarity symbol meaning “Radiant Rare” or “Shining Rare.” The “K” stands for “Kagayaku” which translates to “shining” in English. The Asian versions also use a thin “cross-hatched” reverse holofoiling, while the Western version use a thicker “cross-hatched” reverse holofoiling.
