Blastoise Celebrations Italian 2/102

Essentially a reprint of the first Italian Blastoise artwork from 2000, the Celebrations set celebrates twenty five years of Pokemon cards (the first TCG cards came out in 1996 in Japan).  The card is almost an exact reprint of the original version except for the Wizards of the Coast copyright which has been removed (of course the big yellow Pikachu head with 25 for its cheeks is an easy distinguisher).  Technically this card is part of the “Classic Collection” subset of the Celebrations set, however it is generally referred to as the “Celebrations Blastoise.”  To read more about the Celebrations set visit Bulbapedia and Pokellector.
